DJ O Fresh

DJ O Fresh is a New York-based DJ, producer, and founder of the Chai & Beats touring brand, leading a new wave of global, multicultural sound. Blending House, Hip-Hop, Afrobeats, Dance, and South Asian influences, his live sets are designed to unify diverse crowds into one high-energy experience. He's been doing it for over 16 years.

Growing up in Texas, DJ O Fresh got his start spinning at college events while attending the University of Texas at Austin and DJing on 6th Street through college. He shifted into a Hip-Hop career that would land him over 7 million streams on his song The Champ is Here, sync opportunities with major networks, and two song placements on NBA 2K. DJ O Fresh went viral in 2023 on Instagram with his DJ mashup of "Last Last" by Burna Boy and the world-famous Bollywood song "Chaiyya Chaiyya." From there, it was hit after hit that kicked off his first world tour "Are You That Instagram DJ?" — while getting hired for shows, private gigs, and weddings all over the world.

His ability to read a room — whether it's a packed venue or an intimate rooftop — and deliver sets that keep every person on the floor is what sets DJ O Fresh apart.

In 2024, DJ O Fresh launched Chai & Beats — a global music and culture brand built around community, energy, and shows that sell out before most events even open their doors. From coffee shops in LA to 400-person daytime rooftops in London, packed 700-cap TAO Group venues in NYC, and 1,000+ warehouses in Houston — the format runs on a different clock: rooms fill early, the crowd comes for the experience, and the energy peaks while the rest of the city is still making plans.

To date, DJ O Fresh has independently sold over 6,000 tickets across 16 headline shows, with 11 of 16 sold out. All powered by his online audience. In April 2026, he opened for comedian Akaash Singh at Radio City Music Hall (6,000 cap). One month later, he sold out Marquee NYC (TAO Group) three days early, his third sold-out TAO Group venue in 12 months. No label, no agent, no publicist.

Beyond the stage, DJ O Fresh is one of the most sought-after wedding DJs in the multicultural market, with over 100 weddings worldwide — from New York and California to destination celebrations in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Mexico, Indonesia, and Turkey. He brings the same crowd-reading instinct and high-energy delivery to every celebration, whether it's a 50-person mehndi or a 500-person reception.

Outside of performing, DJ O Fresh is also building tools for working DJs, including CueHabibi, an intelligent music library platform currently in development.
